Having fully absorbed the emotions after returning from our European road trip, I’ll have to sum up…

And so our “Italian circle” has closed. It is the way we’d named our first travel to Italy. It was a very interesting experience and we’re going to try to share with you the information, which we acquired during the trip.

Life is a journey.

But today post is pure statistics, because, as it turned out, emotions from the journey caught up later. My head is mainly turmoil and unbelievable feeling: “Brilliant! Have we really seen and experienced all that? Have we indeed covered the entire route and visited places we only read about yesterday?”

Answering the question like “Did you like Italy?” is a bit demanding and it’s difficult to just say “Hell, yeah!” We certainly took a liking to Italy, but rather ambiguously and not only to Italy. We liked the road, and new emotions, funny and irritating situations, in which we sometimes found ourselves. It enriched us with precious experience, made us feel the life more sharply, live every day to the full. And whatever might’ve happened yesterday, the morning of the next day starts appearing as a clear piece of paper. And whatever troublesome the long day drawing to its end might’ve seemed, the next day demanded new efforts. And perpetuum mobile of our emotions renewed our physical condition.

We liked the feeling of unity with people, the notion of people living everywhere, in any arbitrarily chosen country and city, and people being burdened with the same problems. There are elderly people and children, youth and couples in love, families and loneliness, abundance and poorness… We encountered beautiful and completely different people from the Earth’s corners we only heard about in geography classes – from Faroe Islands and Ivory Coast! We were convinced that the force of communication doesn’t lie in words we say, but in desire to understand one another we show.
